Bdo welcomes new law firm bdo legal

BDO Belgium broadens its legal services with BDO Legal. A team of lawyers and paralegals will support Belgian and international businesses with specialised, pragmatic legal advice across all aspects of business life. "BDO Legal combines strong legal expertise with the power of multidisciplinary collaboration. Our lawyers work side by side with colleagues from financial and tax domains, among others. This enables us to create value together with our clients through co-creation: listening, validating and thinking along, always tailored to their context, business model and pace," says Bram Demeester, partner at BDO Legal.

Legal expertise in a broader business context

The challenges businesses face are numerous. From M&A, restructuring and real estate transactions to HR, public procurement and complex commercial contracts. Not to mention the legal implications of new technologies like AI.
BDO Legal consciously places each question in the broader economic context of good entrepreneurship and sustainable growth. This way, its lawyers and staff help not only in finding clear legal solutions, but also in enabling change, guiding transformation and building future-proof businesses.

Bram Demeester: "With BDO Legal, we bring together legal specialisation and sector expertise in a multidisciplinary team that both advises and guides clients through disputes. This gives businesses the advantage of coming to us with all their legal needs - from A to Z. Our approach is pragmatic, to the point and always clear: legally sound and immediately applicable in practice."

BDO Legal starts immediately with a team of 18 lawyers and staff members, strengthened by collaboration with the broader multidisciplinary network of BDO Belgium and BDO Global. Their strategic insight into legislation, sector and business reality makes them a unique discussion and trusted partner for entrepreneurs.

"With one foot in legal foundations and the other in the economic reality of business life, we help our clients move forward faster, with a clear view of the future," says Bram Demeester. "Our ambition is to further expand this team and gradually broaden our services."

The BDO Legal team officially starts on 1 October and will work from the Zaventem and Brussels offices.
